Presided over by Mr GJ Gyani, Secretary General, Quality Council of India (QCI) as well as CEO of National Accreditation Board for Hospital (NABH), Medifest’ 07 also had concurrent Seminar on Hospital Accreditation. Few of the speakers of Seminar included Mr John Satish, Director (Stellar Management Consultants), Dr. Reena Kumar, Additional Medical Superintendent (Sri Ganga Ram Hospital) and Col. Deepak Bunyan, Deputy Director (Bangalore Baptist Hospital).
Hospital administrators, representatives of leading private sector and govt. institutes, doctors, nurses, paramedics etc along with 330 member institutes of CMAI (hospitals, medical colleges, health centers) and traders, distributors, wholesellers, retailers, importers etc were there to attend various activities during the event.
There were huge numbers of quality trade visitors, comprising of 15% international and 85% domestic. Exhibitors were highly satisfied with the quality visitors they could interact during the event. They made lot of new contacts and revived some old ones as well.
They appreciated the way the show was organized and also found it interesting with the kind of clients they had on their stands. Large number of hospital administrators, doctors, paramedics and decision makers, traders, distributors etc gathered at the show to achieve technical know how and update their knowledge.
Survey report indicated that the visitors were also highly satisfied by the products/services displayed or exhibited. They said that the show was one of the best shows they have ever attended and it was worth their trip.
The show proved to be a nice platform to capture wider alternative of nation wide customers and suppliers and also to meet them face-to-face. There was ample scope for establishing profitable business relationship and a change to interact with others in the area of business and trade.
The presence of quality visitors allowed exhibitors to spend quality time with every visitor. Every participant of the show, whether exhibitor or visitor, expressed that Medifest has a great future ahead.
Definitely, Medifest is emerging as South East Asia’s Biggest and Best Ever Buyer-Seller Meet and Indian healthcare Industry will be able to derive significant mileage from this event with its diverse attributes.
In short, Medifest’07 was a great success in terms of business generation, visitor turnout and creating awareness about new products, services and technologies. |
